Nasher Donation to Fund Hockaday Arts Building
Hockaday alumna Nancy Nasher and David Haemisegger recently made a $6 million commitment to the development of a new arts building at the school — Phase II of the Centennial Center. The Nasher-Haemisegger Family Center of the Arts will provide space for both the visual and performing arts.
Their family is heavily tied to Hockaday. Both of their daughters have attended since pre-kindergarten, and Nasher, her sisters, and mother are all alumnae.
Nasher is owner and manager of NorthPark Center. She and Haemisegger are supporters of both Hockaday and the arts in Dallas and elsewhere.
