Cheerleaders Donate 7,000 Jars of Peanut Butter
Cheerleaders at St. Monica Catholic School collected more than 4,300 jars of peanut butter for Catholic Charities of Dallas this year. That’s one way to spread some cheer.
The cheer squad participated in an exhibition on Nov. 22 at Bishop Dunne Catholic School, and all of the participating schools did their part to collect donations leading up to the “Spreading Good Cheer” event.
All together, teams collected more than 7,000 jars, which will make enough sandwiches for approximately 100,000 families. St. Monica beat out their friendly competitors, with regard to collecting the most peanut butter, and took home the trophy.
