Reading Can Be ‘Ruff’

Mrs. Lamoreaux’s class at Hyer Elementary has a special guest each week. A service dog named Moose is helping the students gain confidence in reading.

Moose’s owner, Margaret Reid, brings him to the classroom and the students take turns reading aloud to him. The students look forward to his visit, and they get some extra practice to improve their reading skills.
