Cardinals Give Sam Acho Bragging Rights
Former St. Mark’s standout Sam Acho got the best of his younger brother’s team when the Arizona Cardinals topped the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20 on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz.
Acho had two tackles as a linebacker for the Cardinals, while his younger brother and fellow St. Mark’s alum Emmanuel didn’t hit the stat sheet for the Eagles.
The siblings previously played together, of course, at the University of Texas. Sam is playing in his fourth year with the Cardinals, while Emmanuel is in his first full season in the NFL.
By the way, Sam will return to the Dallas area this week, with the Cardinals set to face the Cowboys on Sunday in Arlington. Emmanuel and the Eagles will visit on Thanksgiving.
