The Daughters of World War II will host the fifth annual Veterans Day luncheon, honoring H. Ross Perot as well as veterans and their families. Perot will be the first recipient of the group’s Legacy Award for Lifetime Service to the U.S. Military and Veterans.
The luncheon starts at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the Hilton Anatole. Keynote speakers are author Andy Andrews and retired Col. Anthony A. Wood. Veterans get in free with advanced registration, and may bring a guest for $25. Individual tickets are $175. Here’s my favorite part — attire is “military or fabulous forties.”
