Recycle Your Electronics, Have a Salad
Snappy Salads will hold a free “recycling roundup” at six of its Dallas-area locations on Saturday, including at Preston Forest from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is designed to collect electronic items including computers, televisions, monitors, laptops, cell phones, VCRs, stereos, copiers, printers, video games, fax machines, calculators, as well as small appliances and batteries.
The chain of salad eateries with an eco-friendly twist held its first such collection day in the spring, and estimated that they disposed of more than seven tons of electronic waste.
On Saturday, the Snappy Salads location at 5941 Greenville Avenue also will participate from 1 to 4 p.m.
