UPPD Releases Sketch of Sexual Assault Suspect
The University Park Police Department released a sketch today as it continues to look for a suspect in an aggravated sexual assault incident on Sept. 7 near the SMU campus.
UPPD said the suspect is a black man in his early 20s with a “football player build,” with close-cropped hair and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. The tattoo featured a crown with script writing below it. (Strangely, however, it’s not included in the sketch.)
The man is suspected of attacking a female jogger from behind at knifepoint in the 6700 block of Willard Drive at about 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 7. Anybody with information about the case should call UPPD at 214-363-3000 or Detective Marshall at 214-987-5359.
