Rockwell Historian to Discuss Multiculturalism
Norman Rockwell historian Jane Allen Petrick is coming to the First Unitarian Church of Dallas this October.
Petrick will speak on her book Hidden in Plain Sight: The Other People in Norman Rockwell’s America. The narrative explains the motivation behind Rockwell’s art and the reasons for his commitment to display multiculturalism in his illustrations.
The event will be held by the Interfaith Council of the Thanks-Giving Foundation on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
