Celebrate Reading With The Bush Family

Dallas/Fort Worth’s 13th annual “Celebration of Reading” benefiting the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy will take place exactly one month from today on Monday, Oct. 6 at the Meyerson Symphony Orchestra. The event, which starts at 7 p.m., features a number of authors such as Emily Giffin. But it’s the chairs you might recognize: Jeb Bush (foundation honorary co-chair), Amanda and George P. Bush (committee chairs), and former first lady Laura Bush (honorary chair).

The committee also includes a number of recognizable names: Allie Beth and Pierce Allman; Cynthia and Louis Beecherl; Kathy and Harlan Crow; Nancy Ann and Ray Hunt; Gene and Jerry Jones; Gena and Chuck Norris; Jeanne Phillips; Jan and Bob Pickens; Marianne and Roger Staubach and more.

Buy tickets here.
