H-E-B’s Help End Hunger campaign raised significant funds for The North Texas Food Bank. On Tuesday at the Central Market location on Lovers Lane, the food bank received a jumbo check for $26,000.

In the simple campaign, now in its 32nd year, grocery shoppers could tear off coupons for $1, $3 and $5 donations to their local food bank during May and June.

The money will provide more than 91,000 meals to North Texas residents, thanks to the customers that added a little extra expense to their grocery bill. Statewide, the campaign raised $733,000 for 16 food banks.
