Kuby’s Joins Artizone Delivery Service

SONY DSCThis is probably the happiest news I could blog right now. I know all of you are Kuby’s fans, and probably have been since the 1960s, so you will join me in rejoicing when you hear that our favorite, neighborhood restaurant has joined Artizone.com. What’s that, you say? It’s an “online marketplace” for local shops that offers delivery service.

So the next time you need bratwurst, liverwurst, mettwurst and knackwurst delivered to your door for a hearty, German meal served at home, you’re all set.

What will this cost you? There’s a flat rate of $5.95 for delivery (in addition to your food costs). But if your subtotal goes over $120, you won’t pay a dime for delivery. Not too bad.

Of course, there’s still nothing like joining the throngs of people lining up out the door on a Sunday, with the old, German clock chiming overhead. Great, now I’m thinking about the King Ludwig breakfast plate. Ugh. See you at Kuby’s this weekend.
