Cooking Class Benefits a Canine Cause
You can help serve up some good food for a good cause on Saturday when Chris Ward hosts a cooking class at The Mercury restaurant in Preston Forest Square.
The class, which runs from 2 to 5 p.m., will benefit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas. Tickets cost $60 and include a drink ticket, a cooking demonstration with Ward, and tasting portions of some appetizers, entrees, and desserts. There also are VIP seats available for $100 each, as well as a silent auction.
