Reiser Rows to Semis in World Championships
Former Jesuit standout Cole Reiser took a bow at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships over the weekend in Varese, Italy.
Specifically, Reiser was in the bow of a men’s pair boat representing the United States. His partner was Jordan Vanderstoep, his teammate at the University of California.
The duo finished fourth in their semifinal heat, which was won by a boat from Serbia, and placed eighth overall.
Earlier this summer, Reiser won a title with his Cal teammates as part of an eight-man crew at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta in England.
Reiser, a Corpus Christi native, graduated from Jesuit in 2010. He completed his collegiate eligibility at Cal this spring.
