Snuffer to Launch New Concept This Fall

Preston Hollow restaurateur Pat Snuffer has announced plans to re-enter the business this fall, when he and his son, Mike, will open a new concept at the southwest corner of Preston and Frankford in far north Dallas.

Snuffer, of course, is best known for the iconic burger restaurant (with the awesome cheddar fries) that bears his name, starting on Lower Greenville and eventually expanding to other spots in the Dallas area, including Preston Center. But after a legal dispute last year with another Preston Hollow restaurateur, Mike Karns, he was forced to give up ownership in Snuffer’s as well as relinquish the rights to build a new place at the Lower Greenville site.

The new restaurant, by the way, won’t be “another burger joint,” according to Snuffer, but will instead feature burgers, pizza, Tex-Mex, and a full-service bar.
