The 79th Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant will kick off the weeklong pageant festivities with a fashion show sponsored by Dillard’s and Christian Dior of NorthPark Center on June 28 at 2 p.m. The pageant will be open to the public and held at the Dillard’s main entrance fountain.
The 52 Miss titleholders and the 50 Texas Outstanding Teens will be introduced wearing hot summer trends provided by Dillard’s. There will be special appearances by Miss Texas 2013 Ivana Hall and Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen 2013 Sheridan Donavant.
Ivana Hall will be crowning Miss Texas 2014 on July 5 at 7 p.m. at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. Contestants will compete in private interview, lifestyle and fitness, talent, evening gown, and onstage question. The contestant who receives the most People’s Choice votes will automatically be in the Top 15 semi-finalists. Miss Texas 2014 will receive a $10,000 cash scholarship and the use of an Infiniti from Grubbs Infiniti during her reign.
