Teenager Catches a Load of Carp

Here's an ugly fish. But it's a big ugly fish, so that's something.
This carp lives in the waters of University Park.

Here’s a fish tale for you: Hudson Soetenga, an incoming eighth-grader at Highland Park Middle School, recently caught a 22-pound carp while fishing in Turtle Creek at Goar Park.

His friend and classmate Kevin Yancy assisted Hudson during the long fight to reel in the fish. After taking a photo for posterity, he released it back into the creek.
