Pierce Family Honors Birthday in ‘Stellar’ Way
Over Memorial Day weekend, Susan Sullivan, J. Pierce, Sarah Cowen, and Randy Pierce — all Highland Park High School grads — helped their mom, Donna Pierce, celebrate her “80 orbits around the sun” at the McDonald Observatory in Fort Davis.
Pierce, known as the “Star Lady,” is the director of HPISD’s Pierce Planetarium and AFS club sponsor, so it’s a fitting tribute.
