It’s Fishing Derby Season Again!
It’s that time of year again … the University Park annual Children’s Fishing Derby is upon us. This Saturday, grab your kiddos and head to Caruth Park from 9 a.m to noon. The pond will be stocked and ready. But don’t worry, all fishing is catch-and-release style. Don’t forget to bring your own pole and bait. Awards are given out for biggest and smallest catch.
There are also door prizes, snacks, and drinks. Register ahead by calling the parks department, or you can just register when you get there. Word to the wise: bring your sunscreen. Happy fishing!
