Prosper continued its third-game dominance over Highland Park on Saturday at Scotland Yard, ending the Scots’ baseball season in the process.

The Eagles scored 10 runs in the sixth inning to break open a close game, cruising to a 17-2 win in six innings to close out the Class 4A Region II quarterfinal series.

A year ago, Prosper ousted HP in the bi-district round with a convincing 13-2 victory in Game 3 of their series. The Eagles advance to meet Mansfield Legacy next week.

Cooper Chaltas and Matthew White each drove in runs for the Scots (25-14). Steele Walker homered and Anthony Bernardez drove in four runs to key the offensive onslaught for the Eagles (28-10).

The teams split the first two games of the series, with the road team winning each time by identical 8-1 scores.
