Walker Students Named to Perot Program
Mary Briones and Tamara Eliot, who are eighth-graders at E.D. Walker Middle School, have been selected to attend the Discovery Corps program this summer at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
The program includes more than 100 teenagers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and aims to supply avenues for volunteerism and mentoring while also offering teaching and career experience.
