W.T. White’s Street Fair Coming Up on Saturday
W.T. White High School’s fourth annual Community Street Fair, which is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, sounds like quite an affair. Here’s what I’ve been told to expect:
- Booths full of vendors hawking food, jewelry, and clothes
- The Dallas Police Department’s K9 mascot
- A “show and tell” demonstration from Dallas Fire-Rescue
- A classic car show
- Performance by the high school’s ROTC, Jazz Band, and “Gypsy Tambourine”
- A free class courtesy of Twist Power Yoga
- An obstacle course
- Carnival games, including a pie-in-the-face booth
- Food trucks
Admission is free. Raffle tickets will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors. For more information, send an email to StreetFair@wtwcommunity.org.
