Aspiring Filmmakers Showcased at SXSW

The South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, which starts its annual run today, has always been a showcase for emerging young filmmakers.

That extends to the high school level, courtesy of a compilation of short films from students throughout the state that will make its debut tomorrow.

As in past years, several aspiring directors from area private schools will have their works included. Of the 22 films on the docket, five are from Greenhill students and two more are from St. Mark’s. Click here for more information on the screenings and films.
