As you may have heard by now, National Signing Day is upon us, when thousands of high school seniors across the country eagerly sign their name to letters of intent that entitle them to become student-athletes at institutions of higher learning all over the country.

Names and photos of happy signees in sports such as football, soccer, and track and field have been trickling into our office and email inboxes throughout the day, and we’re posting them here as quickly as we can.

One such example comes from the folks at Bishop Lynch, who held a ceremony today honoring eight athletes from the current signing period and three others who signed in November.

Here they are, neatly sorted by sport:

FOOTBALL — Jude Brace (St. Joseph’s College), Tremel Glasper (St. Joseph’s College), Barrett Renner (Southern Arkansas).

WOMEN’S SOCCER — Allison Ganter (TCU), Laura Tone (Central Oklahoma)

TRACK AND FIELD — Erin Wrozek (Northwestern State), Mikala Booher (Tarleton State), Roxana Hernandez (Tarleton State)

The November honorees include Monica Cherry (softball, Texas A&M-Commerce), Kendall Mueller (rowing, Virginia), and Danielle Rogers (women’s basketball, Stephen F. Austin).
