Scots’ District Record Gets Blemished
CARROLLTON — The Highland Park boys basketball team nearly erased a 13-point second-half deficit, pulling to within a point of Newman Smith with four minutes to play. But the Trojans closed with a 17-6 run to post a 66-54 win over the Scots, who had been unbeaten in District 10-4A.
In other news, the Kollers were highly entertained by the game, but not as entertained as we were by the Cub Scouts behind the Scots’ bench who shook their tails to both “Gangnam Style” and “Eye of the Tiger.”
