The Highland Park Scots put the finishing touches on another perfect run through District 10-4A play — their fifth straight — with a 63-7 throttling of Terrell on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.

Highland Park (9-1, 7-0) will take on The Colony (8-2, 5-2) in a Class 4A bi-district game at 7 p.m. next Friday at Allen’s Eagle Stadium.

“It was a great end to the regular season,” Scots head coach Randy Allen said. “We got a lot of guys in the game; I think we got almost everybody in. We came out with no injuries. Maybe we’ll get Gil Horn and Matthew Riggs back next week. Hopefully, we’ll be at full speed going into the playoffs.”

Before being pulled early on because the game was a blowout, quarterback Brooks Burgin threw a pair of touchdowns to Kevin Ken and defensive lineman Andrew Clyde.

Back-up running back Hayden Black rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries, while starter Cole Feigl had 53 yards and two touchdowns. The Scots also scored on a blocked punt return by Boomer Bakich and an interception return by Mitchell Kaufman.
