Calling All Chi Omegas

I always love to hear about the Chi Omega legacy in Dallas, and wanted to share an email I got recently with you. It’s from Megan Killion Klien, who was a Chi Omega at Tulane.

“On January 2, 2013 at UTSW – St. Paul, I gave birth to our beautiful daughter, Mary Kathleen.

“During routine scanning by the pediatrician, a small hole was discovered in her heart. This congenital heart defect required she be placed in the NICU for monitoring and a future surgery was scheduled.

“I was discharged from Postpartum care, but wanted to stay over night with Mary Kathleen. The NICU staff offered a special parent room to us for our stay. I was excited to know this room had been donated in 1988 by the Chi Omega Alumnae of Dallas.”

She and her mother, who was a Chi O at University of Alabama, spent the night in the room. Mary Kathleen is now in perfect health, and I bet you in 18 years she’ll be calling a chapters of Chi Omega “home.” Hoot hoot!
