Katie Bolka Still Memorialized at Fateful Corner
I never noticed this memorial to the late Katie Bolka until this weekend, but considering the seventh anniversary of her death was in June, I’m assuming it’s been on the northeast corner of Preston and Royal for awhile.
Coincidentally, I’m a big believer in the kind of legislation that Bolka’s death has inspired people to fight for. Just as there are obviously people who are too young to drive, there are also people who are too old to drive.
