Reba Cattorini
Reba Cattorini, 85, passed away in her home in Plano, Texas, on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013. She was born in Troy, Ohio, on May 21, 1928, and married Joseph Cattorini at age 26 in Chicago. Reba was devoted to raising four children while residing in Ohio and Florida. She was a resident of Highland Park from 1997 to 2012.
She was a devoted wife of 58 years. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughters Denise Cucunato and Rebecca Shackelton; son Jeffrey Cattorini; sons-in-law Nick Cucunato, Bob Shackelton, and Allen Sullivan; sisters Eileen Guirino, Lucille Pitzer, Viola Hendricks, and Bonnie Barnett; brother Elwood Jordan; grandchildren Alicia Hall and Bryan and Jessica Shackelton; and great-grandchildren Mathew and Amanda Hall.
Reba was preceded in death by her son Michael Mangan, sister Geraldine Hahn, brother Virgil Jordan, and parents, James Jordan and Charlotte (Miller) Jordan.
Funeral Mass will be held at the Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. Visitation will follow Mass until 2 p.m.
