Billingsley Also Menaces Dallas Neighborhoods
A week ago today, at about 10 in the morning, two people were waiting on a porch in the 6200 block of Royalton Drive, which is just a couple of blocks northwest of Preston Royal Village. One of these people was a 54-year-old Hispanic woman. As they were waiting, a lunatic walked up from the street and began yelling racial slurs at the woman. He also asked her if she was in the United States legally. He then punched her in the head before walking away.
Police found the man about a block away, where he was soliciting work as a window washer. That detail sent my antennae up. Window washing is the modus operandi of the Park Cities’ most arrested man, Marx Dale Billingsley. The incident report from the Dallas Police Department did not include the attacker’s name, but a department spokeswoman confirmed for me that it was the same man. The report said he was issued a citation and “released several blocks away.”
Paramedics checked the woman’s vital signs at the scene, and a relative drove her to a doctor.
Several blocks NORTH? I hope!
The report said he was issued a citation and “released several blocks away.”
So a known crazy person with a long arrest record attacks a woman in broad daylight and is given a citation. Not arrested. Not placed on some kind of psychiatric hold. Handed a piece of paper and released.
This sounds like Part I of the Aaron Alexis story.
I live at Midway and NHWY and see this guy in our neighborhood every few weeks. I have always been a little wary when I see him and now with the latest events wonder why this guy is still allowed to wander the streets.
Released after assaulting a person
INvestigate who let him go
IF its money that you are trying to save it costs more to police him or to mop up his messes
THINK!
Class C assault = citation, not arrest!
So kids get arrested for fighting in schools, but lunatics get a citation? What is going on?!
