Burglar Steals Multiple Louis Vuitton Items From SUV at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal

Here’s a look at some of the crimes that happened in your ‘hood last week.

Shortly after 5 a.m. on July 15, a couple of thieves stole a $600 5-foot-tall palm tree from Nicholson-Hardie Nursery in the 5000 block of West Lovers Lane before fleeing in a gray Dodge sedan.

After 5:30 p.m. on July 16, a thief stole a couple of tractor tires with a combined value of $400 from Larry North Fitness at Preston Royal Village.

At 3:45 a.m. on July 17, a resident of the 7100 block of Stonetrail Drive was woken by a loud banging sound coming from the front of his house. A burglar shattered a window before unlocking the front door, but he fled when the resident yelled.

Between 1:15 and 2:45 p.m. on July 18, a burglar broke into a white 2009 GMC SUV in Preston Center and stole a $2,000 GPS/stereo system and a $1,000 Dell laptop.

At 9:22 a.m. on July 19, a burglar broke into two vehicles at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. A burglar stole four Louis Vuitton items — including a purse, a wallet, a coin purse, and a makeup bag — as well as an iPhone, $80 worth of makeup, $40 cash, and a check from a black 2009 GMC SUV. A burglar also stole a purse containing $500 cash, $500 worth of makeup, an iPhone, a wallet, and a driver’s license from a black 2005 Ford SUV before fleeing in a gray Mercedes-Benz SUV. Both phones were later recovered.
