Cronuts, Anybody?
Carol and Nancy’s musing about the origins of cronuts on Side Dish have left my stomach yearning for a ring-shaped treat. Coincidentally, it’s also National Donut Day. So I’m curious — did you indulge today? I had a JD’s Chippery cookie for breakfast (snickerdoodle, duh) but so far my stomach has not celebrated the holiday.
What’s your a favorite donut spot? I know Mustang’s is a classic, but are there any other Park Cities donuts places that you prefer?
Mustang is my favorite, but if I’m in a hurry and know the line will be too long (Sat/Sun morning) I’ll go to Yummy Donuts on Lovers Lane.
First choice Mustang Donuts. In a pinch, Tom Thumb at Lovers and Greenville.
J’s at Lovers and Greenville. I have never understood the infatuation with Mustang.
After I saww the lard buckets sitting outside the back door of Mustang, I could never stomach it again-no matter how convenient.
