Jesuit alum Jordan Spieth didn’t have much time to dwell on a tough weekend at the HPC Byron Nelson Championship.
After finishing tied for 68th place a 5-over on Sunday, the first-year pro turned right around today and headed to a British Open qualifier at Gleneagles Country Club. He will also throw out the first pitch prior to Tuesday’s game between the Texas Rangers and the Oakland A’s at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Spieth will also go to Fort Worth to compete in the Colonial beginning on Thursday.
