Female Shoplifters Conceal Tighty-Whities in Stroller

Here’s your weekly sneak peak at the crimes that will be in the paper this week.
Between 5 and 5:32 a.m. on April 29, a burglar broke into a house in the 11000 block of Jamestown Road and stole 10 plumbing fixtures with a total value of $1,000 and $500 worth of lawn tools. A neighbor saw someone flee in a Chevy sedan.
Between midnight and 6 a.m. on April 30, a miscreant shattered a triple-pane drive-through window at Walgreens in the 6700 block of West Northwest Highway. The vandal did not enter the store, fleeing after causing $3,000 worth of damage.

At 4:35 p.m. on April 30, a burglar stole an $800 TV, a $500 laptop, and a $300 Play Station 3 from an apartment in the 3900 block of West Northwest Highway. The items were later found stashed behind the apartment.
At 3:30 p.m. on May 1, police were called to Macy’s in NorthPark Center, where a pair of shoplifters had tried to steal five pairs of men’s underwear and five men’s undershirts by hiding them in a stroller. Two twenty-something year-old women were arrested.
At 10 p.m. on May 4, a resident of the 5000 block of Pebblebrook Drive was distracted from the Rangers game by a loud crash and the sound of glass breaking. Upon investigation, he discovered that a vandal had shot one of his windows out with a BB gun.
