Hillcrest, W.T. White Set Softball Playoff Games
The Hillcrest softball team, which won the District 12-4A championship, will host Adamson, the fourth-place team from Distroct 11-4A, at 5 p.m. Friday. The winner of that game will face either Mesquite Poteet or Frisco in the second round of the playoffs.
W.T. White’s softball team, which finished fourth in District 9-5A, has scheduled a three-game series with McKinney Boyd, the champion of District 10-5A. Game 1 will be at 7 p.m. Friday in McKinney, and W.T. White will host Game 2 at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by Game 3, if necessary. Sachse or Mesquite Horn will be waiting in the second round.
