Burglars Target Two Paint Shops in Two Days

Between 6 and 6:30 p.m., on April 2, a thief entered an unlocked gray 2003 Ford sedan in the 5300 block of West Lovers Lane and stole a $1,000 Dell laptop.
After 9:30 p.m. on April 2, a thief stole a $2,000 tail gate from a gray 2012 Ford F-350 in the driveway of a house in the 6600 block of Deloache Avenue.
At 10 a.m. on April 3, a thief stole an undetermined quantity of Spiriva from outside the door of a home in the 7200 block of Yamini Drive.
After 7 p.m. on April 3, a thief stole all four tires and wheels with a combined value of $400 from a vehicle in the driveway of a house in the 3700 block of Valley Ridge Road. The thief also stole the dashboard gauges with a combined value of $500.
At 2:15 a.m. on April 5, a burglar broke into Pittsburgh Paints in the 9600 block of North Central Expressway and stole a lock box valued at $100.
At 9:30 a.m. on April 5, a vandal used a sharp object to scratch a door on a black 2005 Chrysler sedan in the 5200 block of West Lovers Lane, causing $1,000 worth of damage.

Between 1:10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on April 5, a burglar broke into a black 2012 Mercedes-Benz SUV in the 9100 block of North Central Expressway and stole a $700 iPad and a $700 Louis Vuitton wallet containing various credit cards.
At 7:15 p.m. on April 5, a thief reached into the window of a black 2012 Lexus SUV at Churchill Park and unlocked the door before stealing a $250 Brahmin purse containing $60 cash, a $20 lipstick case, a driver’s license, an insurance card, and eight credit cards.
At 4:20 a.m. on April 6, a burglar broke into Sherwin-Williams Paints in the 5700 block of West Lovers Lane and stole $350 cash from a small file cabinet.
Between 9:40 and 10 p.m. on April 6, a burglar broke into a gray 2013 Toyota sedan at an apartment complex in the 7800 block of Park Lane and stole a $499 iPad in a $20 case, a $59 hotspot device, and a $20 iPhone charger.
Between 8 p.m. on April 6 and 11:30 a.m. on April 7, a burglar broke into a home in the 7000 block of Baxtershire Drive and caused $500 worth of damage to a door before stealing an undetermined amount of property.
Between 2:30 p.m. on April 4 and 11:55 a.m. on April 7, a burglar broke into a house in the 11100 block of Lawn Haven Road and ransacked the master bedroom, stealing a $600 Lenovo computer.
Between 6 and 7:45 p.m. on April 7, a burglar broke into an apartment in the 3900 block of Sherwood Forest and stole a $2,500 gold bracelet, a $700 iPad, $500 worth of shoes, a $450 52-inch Panasonic TV, an Apple computer valued at $300, a $250 20-inch Sony TV, and $200 worth of costume jewelry.
