‘Liberal Ladies Who Lunch’ Converge Upon Capitol
The fact that there’s a “Liberal Ladies Who Lunch” group on meetup.com — one that meets regularly at a Preston Hollow restaurant — came as a surprise to me as well as a coworker who happened upon the organization’s webpage. Maybe it shouldn’t have.
The group is nearly 340 women strong, for starters. And today is their “Blue Ribbon Lobby Day” at the Texas Capitol.
