Take a Peek at The Coolest Bar in University Park
Only the luckiest people in Dallas have enjoyed a cocktail inside the “red room” at Ken and Patti Crews’ 1935 Tudor in University Park, which is among four spectacular sites chosen for this year’s Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society’s Centennial Home Tour. Read about their home and much more in our premiere issue of “Homes and Design” which you’ll find inside this week’s paper.
A side note from this art director: The Crews’ home was photographed by Holt Haynsworth, who is the second generation of his family to take portraits of the Crews family. Patti Crews said watching Holt take photos of her daughter, Cameron, and her friends (below) was a lot like watching his father interact with her family. It was certainly something moving to witness.
