YMCA Vote Pulled From UP Agenda
Due to the high volume of responses on the Park Cities YMCA ordinance draft, the University Park City Council has pulled the vote from this evening’s agenda. As the newest People reporter to inherit this story, I feel like Charlie Brown running up to Lucy’s football. To be continued …
Sorry to go off topic, but I’m shocked none of our beloved bloggers have mentioned that the DA dropped the case against the SMU student accused in that same-sex rape incident last year. SMU police had even recorded a supposedly-incriminating phone call between the accuser and the accused. (Where have I heard that before?)
….or the Romo defamation case….
Neal: I was shocked. It seems our DA’s office is very unwilling to prosecute. Unlike Ohio.
Overall, since Merritt left, there is no one on the “inside” to bring up relevant posts. Miss her.
@Avid Reader – Look for information regarding the defamation case in this week’s paper.
The City Council needs to get some cajones and make a decision. You can’t please everyone. Look at the big picture.
Or the track star pulled over with pot in the car but only given a warning…
