Two former Highland Park standouts — David Allen and James Fraschilla — are set for some “March Madness.”

And their teams could even be meeting in a second-round game on Sunday. Allen and the Georgetown Hoyas, a No. 2 seed in the South Region of the men’s NCAA basketball tournament, take on Florida Gulf Coast at 5:50 p.m. on Friday. Then, at 8:20 p.m., Fraschilla and the No. 10 seed Oklahoma Sooners will battle San Diego State in Philadelphia.

The winners of those two games will meet on Sunday with a trip to Cowboys Stadium for the regional semifinals on the line. Georgetown is 25-6, while Oklahoma is 20-11.

Don’t look for either to make an impact though. They have combined for a total of 5 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists on the season.
