Classes at HPHS Continue After Threatening Text

HPISD just sent an email to parents and staff advising of a threatening text sent to several HPHS  students’ cell phones.

The email says that “police have determined it is not a credible threat,” so classes will continue as usual.

Police are interviewing students, so let’s hope that they’re getting closer to ending this whole ordeal.

I think it goes without saying that the entire community is more than ready for this to be over. I sure am, and I don’t even have kids.

My friends in the Lake Highlands area are dealing with their own lock downs today. Craziness over there with break-ins and assaults in the area.

And again today at HPHS. Is it really that hard to trace text messages?
