Texas Monthly Star Skip Hollandsworth to Visit Preston Hollow Presbyterian
Bernie co-screenwriter and longtime Texas Monthly staffer Skip Hollandsworth will speak at a luncheon held by Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church on Feb. 1.
The 2011 hit movie Bernie, starring Jack Black, was based on a story Hollandsworth ran in Texas Monthly in Jan. 1998. He’s also racked up a number of professional accolades like the 2010 National Magazine Award and the Texas Institute of Letters O. Henry award for magazine writing.
