Line Named CUSA Offensive Player of Year

SMU senior running back Zach Line was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year.

Line finished the regular season with 1,207 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. It is the third time in Line’s career he has eclipsed 1,000 yards in a season. He has 4,114 yards and 46 rushing touchdowns, which is second in both categories in school history.

Line is also the 11th player in SMU history to be named all-conference three times.

Also for SMU, which plays Fresno State in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl on Dec. 24, senior defensive end Margus Hunt has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 26 in Mobile, Ala.
