Head coach Brice Helton and the Covenant Knights have earned their fourth consecutive trip to a TAPPS six-man state championship game.

The Knights blasted Abilene Christian, 64-14, in the Division I semifinals on Saturday to avenge a loss to the Panthers in last year’s championship game. Colby Boozer and Clark Martin combined for 259 yards rushing and five touchdowns, while Ben Koop added 50 yards and two more scores.

Covenant (11-1) will battle Boerne Geneva (13-0) in the title game at 5 p.m. Saturday in Zephyr. Covenant is still looking for its first state championship. The Eagles knocked off Huntsville Alpha Omega, 66-18, in the other semifinal.
