Get Festive With ‘Light Up Lee Park’
Christmas lights are up. The Nutcracker has begun. Santa is seated at NorthPark. And tomorrow, the trees at Lee Park will be illuminated at the flip of a switch as you look on from the lawn, sipping complimentary hot chocolate with your kiddos. See? Andy Williams wasn’t kidding about that whole “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” thing. Event details below.
What: “Light Up Lee Park” is Lee Park and Arlington Hall Conservancy’s traditional kickoff to the holiday season. Bring a blanket for the lawn and enjoy free hot chocolate while you wait for the big moment at 7 p.m. Once the lights are on, the party’s only just begun. A fireworks show will start immediately after.
When: Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: The Great Lawn at Lee Park, 3400 Turtle Creek Blvd.
Tickets: No tickets required — event is free and open to the public. Enjoy!
