The Sky’s No Limit For Nick Vujicic

Last night I attended a book talk at Jan Miller’s home. Highland Park’s literary agent extraordinaire is known for hosting notable authors at her abode, but Nick Vujicic was really in a class of his own. Born without legs and arms, Nick is president and CEO of the non-profit Life Without Limits.

What impressed me most about Nick was not just that he’s a good speaker (although he is) — it was that every word he spoke was inherently good. This excerpt from his latest book, Unstoppable, will give you an idea of what I’m talking about:

My physical challenges are easy to see, yet people only have to talk to me or hear me speak for a few minutes to understand how much joy I have in spite of that. So they often ask me how I stay positive and where I find the strength to overcome my disabilities. My answer, always, is, “I pray for God’s help, and then I put my faith in action.”

Nick may be missing limbs, but his life is far from lacking. He has a beautiful wife, a baby on the way, and a powerful ministry that has saved lives worldwide. Jan wants you to check out Unstoppable — and by check out, I mean purchase. If you do, I can almost guarantee you’ll be as inspired by Nick’s writing as I was by his message. Copies are available on Amazon and wherever books are sold.
