Fraschilla Inducted Into Manhattan Hall of Fame

ESPN college basketball analyst and University Park resident Fran Fraschilla was inducted into the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Fraschilla was head coach of the Jaspers from 1992-96. He had the highest winning percentage (.716) in school history, led the team to its first NCAA tournament berth in 35 years, and guided the Jaspers to the most wins in a single season (26) in school history.

Fraschilla’s son James is a former Highland Park basketball player who now plays for the University of Oklahoma. His other son Matt is a senior guard for the Scots this season.
