Several Eateries Announce Opening Dates
My inbox has been flooded lately with news of restaurant openings:
Seasons 52, a chain with locations in 13 states, opened its second Texas outlet yesterday in NorthPark Center.
Spoon Bar and Kitchen, the latest concept from colorful chef John Tesar, will open Nov. 2 in Preston Center.
Smashburger will open its fifth Dallas-area location in “late November” in Mockingbird Station.
Dave and Buster’s will open Dec. 2 on the former site of the AMC Glen Lakes, just south of Spec’s on the northbound Central Expressway frontage road.
Wicked Po’ Boys, a restaurant in Richardson, has signed a lease to open a second location in Preston Center, with a projected opening date of January 2013.
Did I miss anyone?
Seasons 52 had a ‘soft opening’ this weekend – the food, service and ambiance were fantastic! cannot wait to return and sit at the sharing table on the patio!
Which will close first Ocho, Spoon, or Nick and Sam’s (on Preston)?
Sounds like the bank branch opening frenzy from a few years ago.
If we could only have the same thing happen with gas stations…only 3 left in the Park Cities, all of whom charge ridiculous prices!
I’m all for better and different restaurants than what we have. But the lack of gas stations is really frustrating.
There’s at least one, maybe two open/opening on Hillcrest at Northwest Highway. One is Tex-mex or just mex.
Has anyone been to start on greenville between desperados and rusty taco?
@HPHS X2 MOM: I’ve been to Start. My friends & I were underwhelmed by the food. I wanted to like it, it’s such a good idea, but it was mediocre at best.
