Kershaw Wins Roberto Clemente Award
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and former Scot Clayton Kershaw became the youngest winner ever of Major League Baseball’s Roberto Clemente Award on Sunday.
Kershaw, 24, was presented with the award prior to Game 4 of the World Series in Detroit.
The Clemente Award is given annually to the player who best represents the game through positive contributions on and off the field, including sportsmanship and community involvement.
Kershaw was the National League’s Cy Young Award winner in 2011.
