How Many Houses Are Being Built in Highland Park?

During a discussion of an ordinance regulating home builders at today’s Highland Park Town Council meeting, officials said exactly how many new homes are being built in the town right now. Well, not exactly, but they ballparked it to a range of five builds. Anybody want to take a guess? FYI, this number does not include renovations or additions; it’s strictly brand-new houses. I’ll post the answer in the comments in a couple of hours.

I was there and was shocked by the number. Then I drove through HP on the way home and there were a lot along St. John’s/Drexel. One looks like a massive church but it is actually a house.

The answer is 40 to 45. I’m trying to figure out what percentage of the residential plots in Highland Park that represents.
