The District 9-5A football championship will likely be decided at 7:30 Friday night when Skyline visits Jesuit.
The Rangers (3-0) suffered their only district loss of last season at the hands of the Raiders, who lost to Southlake Carroll, 28-24, in the Class 5A Division I state championship game. However, Skyline is coming off a shocking 38-36 loss to Arlington Bowie.
Jesuit, on the other hand, beat Houston Strake Jesuit, 53-0, on Sept. 14 behind five first-quarter touchdown passes by Jack Brezette.
Both teams had byes last week.
